Behind REPLIKKA PHOTOGRAPHY is a young, energetic and dynamic lady known as Eunice Gyimah. I was born and raised in a quiet community in Accra, Ghana. Growing up, I was very shy and a reserved person who unpredictably turned out to be a people person and very outgoing. 
 
  I loved pictures and thus have countless albums on display. I always dreamt of having my own camera, this explains why my first camera phone was more of a camera than a cell phone.

My career in photography was inspired and motivated by two wonderful friends and photographers: William Adei and Edem Asameny. William thought me all there was to know as a beginner and as for Edem, watching her from afar ignited the passion in me. She was the first female photographer I ever laid my eyes on. 

In 2011 I began capturing still images as a hobby and this got more intense in 2012 when I captured my first wedding photography session. It was a wonderful experience for me was funny enough a week to my wedding.

One week later in December 2012 I got married to the love of my life, Kofi who also was the reason behind the choice of REPLIKKA PHOTOGRAPHY.

Being a photographer is a desire come true. It has given me the opportunity to see the bigger picture at the same time noticing the little details behind what we think we see. I have a lot of joy telling others the story behind the many lives I come into contact with each day.

The people who make me laugh out loud, those whose bring out tears of joy, the ones that bring me to an “awe” and others that make me” hmmmmmmmm”, lol. In all, REPLIKKA PHOTOGRAPHY is life captured through my lenses and replicated out to the world to view.
